Passport. A valid passport is required to travel to Russia. Non-US citizens should contact their consulate for entry requirements. Your River Cruise Promotions cruise voucher must bear your name exactly as it appears on your passport.

Visa. An entry visa is required to enter Russia. Obtaining an entry visa is the passenger’s responsibility, and failure to obtain a visa shall not excuse cancellation penalties. A visa may be obtained through a private agency or directly through the Russian Embassy or a Russian Consulate. River Cruise Promotions shall provide the passenger with the necessary sponsorship letter required to apply for a Russian entry visa. Other portions of the application (photo, application form, etc.) are the passenger’s responsibility.

Reservation support. Because of the discount prices offered, support for your reservation can be conducted via email only. Please correspond with us through the email address cruise@rivercruisepromotions.com.

Disclosure of medical conditions. The passenger must advise River Cruise Promotions in writing, at the time of booking, or if later, immediately upon your becoming aware, of any physical, emotional or mental conditions that may require professional attention or the use of special equipment. If so afflicted, you must obtain a doctor’s certification that you are fit to travel and are capable of participating in the tour. This certification must be submitted prior to departure. Your failure to disclose any such condition, and/or to provide the requisite doctor’s certification, or your arrival at the place of departure with special equipment that has not been approved for the tour, may result in your being forbidden to take the cruise. You may also forfeit the full price of your cruise, with River Cruise Promotions incurring no liability, financial or otherwise. Furthermore, the failure to advise us of any such condition shall release River Cruise Promotions from any liability related to such condition or its treatment.

Special medical needs. The passenger must bring and be responsible for all necessary items related to his/her condition, including any special equipment that is permitted on the tour. Because the riverboats are not owned or operated in the US, they are not required to meet the standards established by US law for the physically challenged. Certain tour features, including third party transfer services, ground excursion facilities and certain tours are not wheelchair or scooter accessible and may be difficult for the physically challenged. The riverships are not equipped with wheelchair or scooter accessible cabins, and therefore, safety reasons preclude allowing wheelchairs or scooters on board. If you have limited mobility, you may find it difficult to embark or disembark the ship at certain times due to steep gangways and steps. Situations may occur in which you may not be able to go ashore at the desired time, and possibly not at all, in certain ports. For the safety of all concerned, the ship captain will make the final determination regarding your ability to embark or disembark the rivership with or without the assistance of your equipment, taking into account all appropriate matters, including but not limited to weather conditions, the ship’s location, your condition at the time, etc. Walkers and canes are permitted; however, you may find that your participation in certain tour features may be restricted.

Refusal of passage. River Cruise Promotions shall not be required to refund any amount paid by any tour participant who must leave the tour prematurely for any reason, nor shall River Cruise Promotions be responsible for the lodging, meals, return transportation or other expenses incurred by such tour participant.

In the event that an itinerary must be altered or shore excursions eliminated, or itinerary changed due to water levels, arrangements will be made for comparable alternate sightseeing whenever possible, but there will be no refunds in this circumstance. River Cruise Promotions assumes no financial responsibility for any cancellations or delays resulting from invalid passports, visas or other travel document requirements, or for ticket or other travel documents that do not reflect your name exactly as it appears on your passport.
