NECESSARY INFORMATION
Please read carefully the below information about important aspects of your river cruise trip.
ENTRY VISAS
If you are an American citizen, an entry visa is required for you to enter Russia. YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE for obtaining your entry visa, and failure to receive a visa will not excuse any cancellation penalties. River Cruise Promotions will supply you with the neccessary cruise confirmation document, but you are responsible for all other components of you visa application: photos, application form, fees. Applying for a visa can be done directly through the Russian Embassy or a Russian consulate. Alternatively, you can enlist the services of an agency specializing in obtaining visas on behalf of private citizens. Links to helpful organizations can be found on our useful links page.
AIRFARE
River Cruise Promotions’ river cruise packages DO NOT INCLUDE airfare. You are responsible for obtaining your own airfare to and from Russia and other destinations of your itinerary. Links to helpful organizations and airline companies can be found on our useful links page.
INSURANCE
River Cruise Promotions does not provide travel insurance, health insurance or cancellation insurance. Should you want to purchase insurance of any kind for your journey, you are responsible for obtaining it. Links to helpful organizations can be found on our useful links page.
