HISTORY

River Cruise Promotions started in 1993 as Russia by River Inc., a publisher and supplier of the renowned Russia by River guidebook. The book, which has sold over 150,000 copies in three languages, continues to be the most popular resource for the Moscow-St. Petersburg cruise.

Over the years, more and more potential passengers turned to Russia by River before consulting tour operators, so in 2005 we repositioned, rebranded and expanded to take advantage of this pattern, with the aim of benefiting both passengers and tour operators.

At this time we also produced the inimitable China by River guidebook for the Yangtze River cruise and began providing the same unbiased river cruise enhancement services for passengers and providers of the remarkable journey through China's Three Gorges.
